Established in 1986, R.A. Wilkinson & Co have been providing a wide range of general and specialised legal services to private and corporate clients. General types of work included the following:

Richard Wilkinson, the principal of the firm, has over 30 years of practical experiece in commercial and company law, litigation and conveyancing. He is one of very few lawyers with practical and commercial experience in the field of liquefied petroleum gas. Additionally, for many years he has been advising representatives of the independent finance industry.

Barrie Youde is a specialist in the matter of Pilotage.

He served for almost thirty years in the Pilot Service for the Port of Liverpool before qualifying at law in 1990 and, after some experience of criminal law, entering general commercial practice. By maintenance of his contacts in pilotage he has been instructed by pilots at various ports throughout the UK and he is retained by the United Kingdom Maritime Pilots Association.

In 2006 he joined Richard Wilkinson, a keen yachtsman and leading sole legal practitioner in Birkenhead. The firm of RA Wilkinson & Co had also acted on instructions in pilotage matters over a period of years. He is now a partner in the firm.

He is married, with two young daughters.

Born and resident on the Wirral, Mark Adams was educated at Calday Grammar School. He graduated with an Honours Degree in Law from Lancaster University in 2004 and graduated from Chrisleton Law College in Chester with a high commendation. He works largely in residential and commercial conveyancing. Mark is a keen golfer and member of Caldy Golf Club and an amateur snooker player in Deeside Billiards and Snooker League.
